Nobody calls to tell you the price dropped.

Insurers don't reach out when a better rate becomes available — renewals just roll over quietly. Checking what else is out there takes one click and changes nothing on its own.

Worth knowing

Why drivers re-shop their rate

Insurers price differently

Two companies can look at identical information and arrive at different numbers. Each one weighs driving history, vehicle, and location its own way.

Life changes the math

Moving, switching vehicles, paying off a car loan, or adding and removing drivers can all change what you'd be quoted today.

Discounts move around

Bundling, low annual mileage, safety features, and defensive driving courses are common discounts. The ones you're eligible for now may not be the ones you signed up with.

Renewal isn't automatic savings

Staying with the same company year after year doesn't guarantee you're on the best available price. Checking is free and changes nothing on its own.

How this page works

Three steps, and we're out of the way

You click through

The button opens our advertising partner's own website in a new tab. Nothing is collected here first.

They ask their questions

On their site, they'll ask about you, your vehicle, and your driving history — whatever they need to put a number together.

You see what they offer

Any quote, rate, coverage, or eligibility decision comes from that partner — not from Continental Auto Savings.

See what's available for you

It's free to look, and you're under no obligation to change anything.

A few things worth keeping in mind

  • Don't cancel first. Keep your current policy active until a new one is actually in force. A gap in coverage can cause problems later, including at renewal.
  • Compare coverage, not just the premium. A lower monthly price sometimes reflects a higher deductible or lower limits. Look at what's actually covered before deciding.
  • Check your state's requirements. Every state sets its own minimum coverages. Make sure anything you're comparing meets them.
  • Ask about discounts directly. Not every discount is applied automatically. It's worth asking what you might qualify for.

Questions

Straight answers

Is this free?
Yes. You pay us nothing. We're an advertising-supported website, and the company we link to pays us when you click through to them.
Where does the button take me?
Do you sell my information?
This page doesn't collect any. There's no form here — no name, no email, no phone number, no ZIP code. If you choose to give information to our partner on their own site, that partner's privacy policy governs what happens to it.
Are you an insurance company?
No. Continental Auto Savings is not an insurance company, agency, or broker, and is not licensed to sell insurance. We don't sell, solicit, negotiate, or bind insurance, we don't quote rates, and we don't give insurance advice.
Will this affect my credit?
Nothing on this page runs any kind of check. Our partner has their own practices and discloses them on their own site. Many insurers use a credit-based insurance score when quoting, which typically does not affect your credit score — but confirm that with the partner.
Do I have to switch?
No. Looking at a quote doesn't obligate you to anything, and you're free to stay exactly where you are.
